We Keep It Simple

Most football sites hit you with a wall of cookie consent popups. We don't. Here's exactly what we use:

Functional Cookie (Essential)

One cookie: ft_prefs. It remembers whether you dismissed the live ticker or collapsed a section. Expires after 30 days. No personal data. No tracking. This cookie is essential for the site to work properly — under GDPR, we don't need your consent for it.

What We DON'T Use

• ❌ No social media sharing widgets that drop cookies

Self-Hosted Analytics

We track page views using a self-hosted, anonymized analytics tool. It does not set cookies. It does not build user profiles. It tells us: "500 people read the Mbappé article yesterday." That's it.

Third-Party Cookies from Linked Sites

When you click a streaming link and leave Footie Talk, the destination site may set its own cookies. We don't control those. Check their policies.

Managing Cookies
